RATES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rates

The charge per person per day depends on season, number of guests and length of stay. Rates for 2022 are R450 per person per night over most of the year. Single one night supplements apply. A child and South African Pensioner discount is available. From 1st December to 15th January the accommodation is let as a single unit for a maximum of six persons to ensure privacy. The rate for the unit over this period is at present R4500 per night.

Deposit

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance must be settled in full one month before arrival. For bookings within 4 weeks, full payment is required at the time of booking. A refundable breakages deposit of R1,000 to cover key loss, damage, breakages and other unfortunates will be added to your booking. This deposit will be refunded within 5 days after the house has been inspected for any breakages or loss.

Payment

Please note we DO NOT have credit card facilities but there are 2 banks and several ATMs in the village

Payments must made by bank transfer or deposit as follows:

Cancellation

Cancellation three months before arrival will result in a full refund of the deposit less 15%.

Cancellation two months before arrival will result in a 50% refund of the deposit less 15%.

Cancellation one month before arrival forfeits the full deposit, unless we can get another booking, in which case a pro rata refund will be made, depending on the second booking period and number of guests.

No variation to the above will be considered and payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of this policy.

Check In & Check Out

The accommodation will be available from 14h00 on the day of arrival. Guests should please advise approximate time of arrival to ensure we are at home to welcome you. Please call 046 6482138 or 072 231 0451 for directions once you arrive in Kenton on Sea. Please vacate the accommodation by 10h00 to allow for preparation for the next guests. If you wish to leave later please arrange in advance with the owners. We will try to accommodate you but generally this will be charged as an extra day.

Maximum Occupancy

No more than 6 guests (excluding infants under 1 year old) are allowed to sleep in the accommodation at any time.
